Where better to start planning your tour than the official site of the Australian tourist board. Well, to be honest, in my opinion there are plenty of better sites to start on. This one in not for the feint hearted surfer. It is full of horrendous rubbish and multimedia that maybe a child would like, but experienced adults will just find annoying.

Although it is not in any way user friendly it does have some useful travel information on it. There are searchable events activities and tours of downunder. All you would expect of a tourist board site but, it is extremely cumbersome to navigate around and tired some to look at after a few minutes. If you are looking for some specific holiday information on a specific date, then it might be worth the wait.

This site has been around for a while and could imo use an update. Although, having said that it works a lot better than the official tourist board site. Not much to look at on the front page but quick loading. It deals with Great Barrier Reef holidays. There is also some stuff about education in the area. There is the usual accommodation available for booking. Some good info on Great Barrier Reef scuba diving and snorkeling. Useful items about Australian cruises, fishing. Some other forms of great barrier reef accommodation is also available here. You can choose your backpacker hostels and caravan parks to stay at while you are on holiday too.

This is an interesting site. It is quite well produced but seems slow when viewed in Europe. Being as Australia is so far away this is perfectly acceptable. The majority of custom they are looking to attract will in fact be Australians.

It has a vast selection of Australian bed and breakfasts available. The small snippets of information available to you are furthered by link to the site of each establishment, or so it seemed when I last visited. This to my mind means it is a good resource for aussie travellers down under. If you are getting info direct from the accommodation it must be of value. This site is an unfortunate product of the google advert nightmare. It was originally a good travel resource that seems to have been changed into an advertising portal. The travel information about holidays in Byron Bay is still there but, you have to look for it. Adverts are the most prominent links on this site.

This site is a product of what google has produced with is disallowing of many good equability sites in it search results. If you look at the information that has been produced you will see it is good value for the reader. But, it has become less important than the adverts it seems. What a shame. Look for information about your trip to Byron Bay and you will find it. Just be careful of all the travel adds. It is a quite complete travel and accommodation guide to the Byron Bay area.

Kingsleys Steak House - Two Fine Sydney Restaurants Available

This flash presentation is brought to you by those who have to time to wait for a site to load and then see very little on screen. The restaurants themselves look like nice places and from what I have read in the way of reviews are good quality. Yet, the site is a horrid production of flash rubbish that just is not required. Have a nice meal for sure at the Kingsleys Steak House. Its a name synonymous with value for money and great service. Everything (according to them) will exceed your expectations. The most important thing is not at all kept to last. It is here that you will get the best beef in Sydney!
