Rating of 2.29 out of 5 Unique ID (2411428) Good stuff: Nothing Bad stuff: Better beds. Bigger sinks in bathroom. Place to use a laptop. More clearance between loo and wall (I'm 18stones). Flexible shower head so you can wash your hair without taking a shower. TVs that work. Taps that don't drip all night. Windows where the default is open at the top, not the bottom (security). Overall: Poor rooms but good breakfast. Staff on reception excellent. Wished I'd have known that no evening meals available. |

Rating of 3.86 out of 5 Unique ID (2242954) Bad stuff: Bathroom v. small shower dodgy Overall: This is a basic no frills hotel offering good value for money. The man at check in was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable and even though it was at the front of the hotel it was very quiet. I stayed here with my daughter visiting universities and would stay here again to visit her. This is not the hotel for a luxury romantic weekend away but if you want to spend your days seeing the sights, shopping etc. this is a comfortable place to stay without spending a fortune. It is about 20 - 30 mins walk from Waverley station. |

Rating of 3.14 out of 5 Unique ID (1663048) Good stuff: Room a reasonable size. Nice cotton sheets. Bad stuff: Decor a bit passe. En-suite shabby although clean. Prefer to have wash basin in en-suite rather than in bedroom. Overall: Overall adequate for reasonably priced accommodation in a capital city. Staff generally very helpful and friendly, although there was some confusion over how many rooms we had booked for how many people. |
