Good stuff: Good area. Close to most attractions
Bad stuff: Excessive charges due to the rubby international weekend.
Overall: Normal room rates for this guest house are very reasonable but rates were nearly trebled for the particular weekend of the rugby.

Good stuff: Friendliness and helpfulness of proprietor.
Bad stuff: Nothing.
Overall: Mr Singh made us feel very welcome and was happy for us to leave our bags with him until our room was ready so that we did not have to carry them around with us. I would recommend this hotel to any of our friends.

Good stuff: Staff very friendly and helpfull. Good choice of breakfast menu. Close to the city centre.
Bad stuff: Very little room to move about in bedroom and bathroom area's. Housekeeping practices require improving - carpets and shower area's.
Overall: Staff very helpfull. Room adequate for overnight stay. Bedding clean and tidy.

Good stuff: Reasonable price. Simple, clean, and tidy. Courteous, friendly and helpful staff.
Bad stuff: It was all good.
Overall: I was very pleased with everything. The location was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, warm, cosy and comfortable. My ensuite bathroom was neat and clean. The water was very hot. Lovely Victorian building with lovely high ceilings. As a single female traveller I felt very at home there.
