With the Radisson in Edinburgh we have gone out of our way to keep the original character of the building at the front in keeping with is surroundings. you may well be stunned when you see the building into thinking that we cant possibly be where you are staying tonight.

The SAS is a very well equipped full facility modern hotel behind a 16th century set of townhouse. We are in the middle of the city so as to give you good access on foot to all the major tourist attractions as well as excellent placement for the railway station. This four star hotel in Edinburgh is just what you need to be able to relax after a hard days business or touring our lovely historic Scottish city.

The name Radisson SAS means quality and we have gone out of our way with very well trained staff and exceptionally comfortable rooms to make sure we keep that reputation.

Good stuff: hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable. Little luxuries made it a hotel I would visit again, and through spending excessive time away with work and staying in a range of hotels I would love to be able to stay in this Radisson each time.

Bad stuff: expensive men in the restaurant and breakfast at £15 per person.

Overall: Excellent location. Excellent service from staff. Very pleasant stay.

Good stuff: The rooms are spacious. Cleaning staff do not hunt you out of your room early in the morning.

Bad stuff: I like to sleep with a window open. This is not possible in rooms at the front due to street noise.

Overall: The hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming. We only had one evening meal in the hotel and it was excellent. Anything that we requested was granted without fuss and with a smile or a friendly joke. You are lucky to have such good staff.

Bad stuff: The room was very noisy in fact awoken on sat/sun 3 am by noise of nught clubbers

Overall: The hotel was fairly good however the finishing touches were not there the mini bar was very sparse and not topped up were were left no teabags or milk. Work men were working next door to our room on all three morinings including sunday. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this is not one of my favourites
