Radisson Blu Edinburgh 80 High Street Online Booking

Picture of Radisson Blu

The Radisson is an extremely well outfitted full service contemporary hotel behind a 16th century set of reconditioned traditional townhouses. We are in the heart of the metropolis in order to provide you with excellent access when walking to any or all the most important sightseeing opportunities in addition to superb placement for the train station.

This four star hotel in Edinburgh is precisely what you require to be in a position to take it easy following a challenging days business or taking in our wonderful traditional Scottish city.

The rooms here are as lovely as you could possibly imagine. The pictures do not really do them justice but will give you an idea of the luxury you are about to unleash on yourself.

Well positioned we are just across North Bridge from Waverly station. To find us from the station is simple. Come out of the Waverly Bridge entrance and turn left on the bridge. Follow the bridge away from Princes Street until you come to the roundabout. Cross to the other side and follow Cockburn Street for a few hundred metres until you come to High Street, which is part of the Royal Mile. As you walk down here you will see a stunning structure that could pass as a castle on the right. Thats is where you will be staying when you book a room here.

The name Radisson means quality and we have gone out of our way with very well trained staff and exceptionally comfortable rooms to make sure we keep that reputation.

Good stuff: hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable. Little luxuries made it a hotel I would visit again, and through spending excessive time away with work and staying in a range of hotels I would love to be able to stay in this Radisson each time.

Bad stuff: expensive men in the restaurant and breakfast at £15 per person.

Overall: Excellent location. Excellent service from staff. Very pleasant stay.

Bad stuff: The room was very noisy in fact awoken on sat/sun 3 am by noise of nught clubbers

Overall: The hotel was fairly good however the finishing touches were not there the mini bar was very sparse and not topped up were were left no teabags or milk. Work men were working next door to our room on all three morinings including sunday. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this is not one of my favourites

Good stuff: The rooms are spacious. Cleaning staff do not hunt you out of your room early in the morning.

Bad stuff: I like to sleep with a window open. This is not possible in rooms at the front due to street noise.

Overall: The hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming. We only had one evening meal in the hotel and it was excellent. Anything that we requested was granted without fuss and with a smile or a friendly joke. You are lucky to have such good staff.
