The Park View is a family run establishment in Leith Edinburgh. With 16 room available to guests we are a small hotel which means we can give you a far more personal service when you stay with us.
Reasonably priced and near to the lively night life that exists in Leith, we offer you the perfect place to stay on your holiday to relax and enjoy the city. When you choose a smaller establishment like ours, it will give you a far more friendly atmosphere than some of the bigger less personal hotels. the near by attractions include of course Leith docks, which is where the Royal Yacht Britannia is based. The fabulous shopping centre next to it will mean that you will be able to find those gifts for family and friends without having to go far. The perfect place to stay for business or pleasure. We look forward to welcoming you.

Rating out of 5: 3.86 Unique ID(97445232) Guests Name: Anonymous Guest was traveling as: Family with older children
Good stuff: Excellent location, parking good, friendly welcome, staff pleasant. Family room a very good size. Ideal for a short term visit.
Bad stuff: Decor in rooms and furniture a bit dated. Breakfast although included in the price was bare minimum (cereal and cooked food choices). Went to get milk from shop as milk man had not arrived! Breakfast times seems very restricted - quite early.
Overall: Plenty helpful advise to the directions of city centre, plus lots of leaflets available in hotel. Having Bus routes/time tables would be a good idea, also local restaurants (recomended) would be nice. Any discounts available in city centre etc.,

Good stuff: Location
Bad stuff: Standard of room - bathroom was disgraceful
Overall: Whilst the room was tidy, the door front kept falling off the bedside cabinet and the bathroom was disgraceful - it was dirty and in need of complete renovation.

Rating out of 5: 3.57 Unique ID(1775143) Guests Name: Ulrich Guest was traveling as: Group of adult friends
Good stuff: Good breakfast, nice traditional house, clean rooms and bathrooms.
Bad stuff: If the TV in our room would have had an antenna, not only the plastic foot of it, we could have seen more than snowy weather in the TV. :-) And smoe more chairs in the rooms would be nice.
Overall: The hotel is situated directly in Front of the Leith Links Park. From the frontside rooms you have a good look into the green.
The house itself is a good old traditional hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms and good English breakfast.
From the hotel you have good connections by bus to the city centre (Princes Street) and to Leith (and the Royal Yacht Britannia ).
