Rating of 5.0 out of 5 Unique ID (3304459393) Good stuff: Everything - Heather was lovely and friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of room for 3 with a clean en-suite. The cooked breakfast was lovely as it was grilled and there was plenty of choice. Bad stuff: Nothing! Overall: I have never been to Edinburgh before and I was really happy that I chose Kingsway Guest House. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was cooked to perfection, ideal before a walk up Arthurs Seat!!! The room was clean and airy, and with the location it was easy to get a good nights sleep. I would highly recommend staying here and if i visit Edinburgh again would definately be my first choice of accommodation! Thank you to Heather for your hospitality. |

Rating of 2.57 out of 5 Unique ID (2243333) Good stuff: The tidyness and the cleanliness of the hotel. Bad stuff: The reception facilities. Overall: Generally satisfied but too expensive, taking into account the poor hotel facilities and the distance from the city center. |

Rating of 4.57 out of 5 Unique ID (2204637) Good stuff: Quaint and comfortable with a convenient location. The owners were remarkably warm and helpful. Overall: Overall, the Kingsway provided excellent accommodations. In the context of the Edinburgh market, it was reasonably priced, too. We especially appreciated our proprietress, Mrs. MacDonald. |

Rating of 2.86 out of 5 Unique ID (1611921) Good stuff: The entrance hall and the welcome by the host was lovely. Bad stuff: The room itself wasnt as nice as the description. Overall: Our room was very cold in the evenings although it was warm in the morning so the central heating worked but wasnt on. The main hall was very warm and inviting. The breakfast appeared to consist of a value ranges and wasn't very appetising. We were advised to visit a supposedly good shopping area but we found no shops on the road which was tiring and disappointing after the promise of sharing the host's wide experiance of the area. We did find a lovely restaurant within walking distance. |

Rating of 4.57 out of 5 Unique ID (1622008) Overall: Our stay in a strange country and city was a marvelous experience due in large part to the fact that we had a warm and welcoming home to return to each day. Our hosts were very helpful and informative at all times. Should we find ourselves in Edinburgh again, the Kingsway Guesthouse would be our first choice for lodging. |

Rating of 4.0 out of 5 Unique ID (1549597) Good stuff: The room was lovely and clean and the owner was really friendly and made us very welcome Bad stuff: There were CD players in the rooms and one of the guests in the room next to ours had it on quite loud. Overall: The hotel was easy to find and we got a lovely reception from the owner. Our room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was good and there was parking which is essential for us. The hotel was not too far out of the city centre but far enough out to be nice and quiet in the evening. |
