Good stuff: It was reasonably located to the centre of Edinburgh and the castle was only a 10 minute walk.

Overall: I thought that the size of the bathroom in our triple room was quite adequate. The staff were friendly and the service of the morning breakfast was carried out with good efficiently. Well done to you all!

Good stuff: The size of the room, the very large bed. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good cooked breakfasts.

Bad stuff: The bedroom and bathroom could have been slightly cleaner.

Overall: It was really OK. I booked very late and got a bargain price. I was surprised at how good it was overall. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Hotel was well decorated and all the furnishings appeared to be fairly new. Hotel appears to be situated in a street where there is some kind of accomodation for drug users but they were not much of a threat. I will willingly stay here again.

Good stuff: it had a bath, then they made me change room for no reason, the breakfast

Bad stuff: the staff were rude, there was no bar serving draught drinks, there was no pay tv, there was no mini-bar, there was no restauraunt outside of brakfast

Overall: I would liked to have known there was no bar and no room service

Good stuff: I liked the proximity of the hotel to the venue I was attending. the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Bad stuff: The bathroom was too small.

Overall: Overall I was pleased with my stay in the Herald House. My expectations from reading the info on your website when I booked was exactly what I got. I have already said that the bathroom was too small but it did say that the en suites were small.
