At our house you can be assured of a warm Scottish welcome when you stay. The Hawthorn was build around 1840 and we have kept the character of the area top this day as we are in a conservation area.
Inside you will find cosy rooms that have been tastefully decorated. Come and enjoy the piece of a village near enough to the city for you to get a real feel for Scotland.
Breakfast in our cafe will be a great way to start the day. Past guests have told us how much they like the full Scottish and this still remains a very popular choice. We also have a great option for the vegetarians. All of this is cooked to order.
Our location to the west of Edinburgh will but in in a quiet area where you will get a good nights sleep for sure. Yet there is easy access to all the attractions in the either by train or car.
