 We are very close to the new Murrayfield Stadium Conference Centre in Edinburgh. Easy to find a short distance off of the A8 yet far enough away to make for a quite nights rest.
Greens use to be a group of 4 Georgian town houses, When we turned into a hotel we tried to keep a flavour of its past elegance and blend that with newer facilities you expect. The interior decor of our well appointed rooms and interior reflects the elegance of the Georgian architecture of its exterior.
Central to the city, close to Princes street, yet quiet and relaxing when you have finished your hard days tour or work. Some of our rooms have views to the hills and the North Sea coast that you would really expect from a country house establishment.
We have both an a la carte restaurant and bistro for you to enjoy a meal and afterwards, why not relax with a local whiskey in our Oak Room bar.

Good stuff: Well located for city centre and railway station,comfortable,well equiped,peaceful and quiet, friendly staff.
Bad stuff: I don't think I could find anything to dislike.
Overall: This Hotel is very close to the city centre and Haymarket Station which allowed us to leave the car and take the train. The Hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Booking over the internet made it good value for money. It is certainly the only way I would book a hotel room in future.

Good stuff: The requested 'quiet room' was made available. Everything was spotlessly clean. All room, lift and meal facilites were explained by check-in staff and service was very efficient.
Bad stuff: Explain late night procedures. I arrived back to the Hotel after midnight to find the door locked and bolted which was quite a shock. However, this was a minor problem in a most enjoyable stay.
Overall: The hotel was everything described on the web site; nothing was left out or exaggerated. All staff were most pleasant, helpful and accommodating and the room & meal were quite excellent. As the hotel was quite central and close to a railway station, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone planning a stay in the City.
