Rating of 3.0 out of 5 Unique ID (107349231) Overall: Very noisy as the room was above a pub. The room was very basic certainly not worth £80 for the night! |

Rating of 3.43 out of 5 Unique ID (2758928) Good stuff: The location. Bad stuff: The decor. Overall: Hotel is in a great location to experience the local night life of Edinburgh. The hotel itself is a bit run down looking in particular the meandering corridors on the way to the bedrooms. Breakfast was however good and all in all with the central location I would still go back but come on owners splash some cash on the decor. |

Rating of 1.86 out of 5 Unique ID (2795412) Good stuff: nothing, it was the wrost hotel I ever stayed in. Bad stuff: everything, it is badly run down, it smells and it looks dirty Overall: It was horrible! We were placed directly over the pub and had to listen to primitive live music all night, no ventilation, no lights by the beds, bad bed, poor directions in the maze like corridors. |

Rating of 2.14 out of 5 Unique ID (2580101) Good stuff: Reception Staff were very helpful!! Bad stuff: Rooms & Corridors smelt very badly of damp. The shower room was incredibly tight and a squeeze to shut the door behind you. Overall: This hotel was in a excellent location for castle / old town. The local bars & restaurants were plentiful and good. The staff were excellent on the reception desk and provided us with lots of helpful advice etc. The only downside was the damp & somewhat shabby decor in the rooms although the towels, linens etc were immaculate! |
