Good stuff: the room was modern and stylish. The bathroom was lovely as well. I also liked the honesty bar area which was nice and relaxing

Bad stuff: check out should be midday not 11am as this is too early

Overall: The parking was a bit far away and I could not park outside the hotel to check in as it was too busy and then park which meant me having to take all my luggage through the omni centre which wasn't ideal. Hotel was in a good central location, staff nice and friendly. I did want to use the gym but didn't realise that you had to pay an extra £12.50 for the priviledge!

Good stuff: Good facilities in the room. The patio door onto the roof garden gave pleasant outlook.

Bad stuff: In room dining is fairly expensive so the £5 charge for delivering seemed excessive.

Overall: The room was good value but food and drink is pricey. It is good quality however, and for short stays justifys the cost. Plus dining out in the centre of Edinburgh is hardly a chore. The honesty bar is a nice touch. Again it's expensive but it is nice to be treated like an adult.

Good stuff: The most striking element of the hotel was the attention to detail in the suite

Bad stuff: The service at breakfast was dreadfull

Overall: The standard of the glasshouse hotel is in the whole outstanding, from checkin to familarisation to the standard of the accomodation. The small downside to my stay was it took 30 minutes to be served a coffee at breakfast and another 20 to get breakfast. This was componded by a fire alarm which meant that by the time we evacuated, the food was cold on our return and no suggestion or effort was made to rectify this, however this in the grand scheme of our stay was minor.
