Good stuff: price, carpark and hotel grouds

Bad stuff: rooms were extremely warm, no additional accomodation made for early breakfast due to flight next day. hotel reception smelled.

Overall: i would have liked to have known that weekend breakfast was from 7.30 onward and the hotel was unwilling to make an alternative arrangement for my husband due to an early flight he had. reception are of hotel smelled and this is the first thing that hit you when you entered the hotel. Hotel room was extremely warm and did not cool down despite having the only window in the room open. Check in girl was taking telephone calls for reservations for other hotels and overall checking took an extra 10 minutes because of this.

Good stuff: Quiet location, pleasant surroundings, attractive building, comfortable bed, good breakfast, non smoking atmosphere, staff helpful

Bad stuff: Room slightly cramped and hard to find at first, slightly pub-like feel to lounge

Overall: I found it a very satisfactory overnight stay, facilities limited of course and minor quibbles but good value for money, would happily stay again
