The building of Dunstane House took place in the year 1852. Its architect was one Mr William Henry Plaiyfair who played a major role in Edinburgh being give the title the Athens of the North. We have striven to leave the character of the building intact to make for a truly relaxing atmosphere when you stay with us.

 Rating of 2.57 out of 5 Unique ID (3304150955) Good stuff: Covenient for City sightseeing and close proximity to our relatives Bad stuff: Although the hotel was Non-Smoking, there was a strong smoky atmosphere. Freshen up of soft funishings and curtains might help. Overall: Generally adiquate for our purposes. Easy access to City centre for sightseeing,close to Murreyfild Arena and Zoo. Bar area could do with a freshen up. Steep staircase to upper level could make it difficult for less mobile guests. |
