Easy going atmosphere in town we are just a short walk to the centre where you will find many choices of entertainment. We offer a cosy, comfortable place to stay with a warm welcome and traditional breakfast to set you up for a day of adventure!
Glasgow is the gateway to the Highlands but is also one of the most vibrant city's in Europe. The best shopping outside of London, the best social scene in Scotland and a multi-cultural zen approach to life makes this a most delightful place to visit.
A marvellous choice of museums - over 20 and many with free admission makes for a very interesting time. Paying tribute to everything from Transport to Science, McLellan's Art Gallery, Science and the Imax Centre to St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art - the only one of its kind highlighting the understanding and respect of all nations and faiths. A visit to the ancient grounds where the Cathedral and Necropolis sit will leave you feeling a little more humble and perhaps wise - this place has a spirit of its own.
Beauty can be found at the People's Palace and Winter Gardens and Pollock House and Country Park - ancient monuments and statues, antiques, art and gorgeous gardens.
For shopping - head for the pedestrianised centre of Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street. Argyle Arcade is home to over 30 jewellers. The Merchant City area is where you will find the open air market - woollens, bric a brac, kilts and tartans. The Italian Centre is strewn with stylish cafes and restaurants and pay special attention to De Courcy's Antique Craft Arcade.
Something for everyone.
