Being located out of the city centre means rooms here are generally larger and better value. Having good public transport links nearby mean it is still easy to get in and out of Edinburgh.

We are located about 4.5 miles (7km) away from Edinburgh city centre in Portobello near the coast with easy access to the centre. We are literally surrounded by lovely gold courses what ever direction you go.

This hotel is very highly rated by guests as great value for money accommodation. Ample sized rooms are well fitted out and decorated. We also have a great restaurant here if you would like to have lunch or your evening meal with us.

There are good leisure facilities available for you in the hotel. This includes somewhere for the fitness minded and an good size indoor pool. Also just across from us there are full leisure centre facilities available. All of our guests are very welcome to use this centre.

Although we are out of the city centre in the Portobello district, easy access to it is gained via public transport. There is a bus stop right outside that will take you there. There is also Brunstane railway station a short walk away and from here you can get into Waverly Station with ease. Trains run every 1/2 hour Monday to Saturday during the daytime.

Our situation also means we are within easy reach of 4 great golf courses. Portabello Golf Course is just 1 mile to the West of us, Duddingston Golf Course is 1.5 miles West, Craigentinny Golf Club is 2.5 miles North-West and Royal Musselburgh Golf Course is 4.5 miles to the East. So stay here will mean not far to go to enjoy this great Scottish sport or the people.
