Good stuff: Overall....very good

Overall: Directions could be more exact. ie from the west it should read city by-pass SOUTH. a small point but would save a stranger a lot of grief

Good stuff: Good location, rooms and decor good, staff generally helpful, food good.

Bad stuff: Organisation and staff coordination at breakfast on one day were shambolic and very disappointing, though better the next day (and food was very good throughout).

Overall: A good, friendly hotel with a warm atmosphere in a pleasant and easily accessible part of town. The rooms are practical but attractive, the staff are helpful, the bar is lively and the breakfasts are great - at least when the staff co-ordination is the right side of chaotic.

Good stuff: Convenience and location

Bad stuff: The room initially offered had an absolutely overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke.

Overall: A choice of non-smoking rooms would be helpful

Good stuff: Freindly helpful staff. Rooms good size, plenty of storage space, good selection of tea coffee in room. Good size Bathroom, easy to work shower!

Overall: Good central hotel, with friendly helpful staff. Good sized bedrooms unlike some central european hotels with pokey rooms and no tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel has all and more!!! No need to go far on a wet saturday evening to look for a meal, The Cardoon restaurant is excellent as is the Kings Bar where a bar meal can be ordered from about 11am until late. Would recommend this hotel.
