This lovely Georgian townhouse is placed close to the city centre. We have private parking available to our guests and we are very proud of having won the Sparkling Diamond award from the RAC for cleanliness. Public transport links are close by for easy access to the city.
The centre of Edinburgh is within easy reach. The bus service here is very regular and close by for those out of car excursions of our fabulous city.
Rooms here are spacious. Guests have told us "The rooms are so nicely decorated we are thinking of doing something similar at home.". A real compliment there. We are sure you will see what they mean when you stay.
Our well trained staff are there to help you on you stay in the city. Maps and advice on what there is to see will be available.
The charm of the rooms has been improved for your comfort. Our aim is to make you feel at home, comfortable and cosy while you stay here with us. Most of our rooms are en suite with amenities you would expect from bigger establishments in there as well.
Near to us at the Ben we have museums walk with lovely panoramic views theatres and even an Olympic size swimming pool.

Room was clean and central bathroom was spotless. Bus stop right across the street made this hotel very convenient to access city centre. Bad stuff: Room not en suite. Parking was close quarters-accessing the hotel into a very tight car park from a busy road was a bit tricky. Electrical outlets in rooms not really conveniently placed. Overall: I enjoyed the personal touch at this hotel. I would recommend the Ben Doran to anyone visiting Edinburgh but would tell them that it is not really within walking distance to the city centre (but bus stop provides easy access til 11 PM) and the rooms are not en suite. |
