Good stuff: Excellent location near to railway station and shops. Decent breakfast, also complimentary tea/coffee and bottled water in bedroom. Clean bed linen and fresh towels

Bad stuff: Bedroom very hot but unable to open old wooden sash window for ventilation. Net curtains very grubby. No hairdryer or electric shaver point and crack noted in washbasin.

Overall: Enjoyed our visit and though the hotel was fair value for money. Part of hotel is being refurbished which is well overdue.

Good stuff: It was clean and comfortable.

Bad stuff: There was no bedside light switch, so I had to put out the lights at the door, then aim for the bed .

Overall: I was really impressed by the helpfulness of the staff- offering me breakfast at four in the morning, before I left for my plane.
